Key Responsibilities:

Lead the research of cutting-edge, deployment-driven AI technologies that push the boundaries of current AI applications in the financial realm.
Lead and develop the scientific core of the company, ensuring that foundational research aligns with long-term strategic and product goals.
Work closely with the CTO and other stakeholders to define the technological vision to drive the product roadmap.
Leadership role in onboarding future researchers and setting the quality standards for R&D and technical discussion
Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and ownership.

Qualification:

Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field from a top-tier institution.
At least 5+ years of experience in AI/algorithm research roles with substantial experience taking research ideas from concept all the way to production.
Strong understanding of state-of-the-art algorithms and models in AI and deep learning, with a passion for staying at the forefront of research advancements.
Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate your own work and assess its real-world performance and impact.
Comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of a fast-growing startup environment.
Being a self-starter, who can proactively identify opportunities for impact even when they’re not assigned to you.
